COMPARATIVE DAWAH: 100% SHARIAH COMPLIANT 1 OF 4.
The sources of Islamic legislation on which all beliefs, principles and rulings are based are two Revelations: the Qur’aan & Sunnah. Imam al-Shaafa’i (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: No one has any right whatsoever to say that something is halaal or haraam except on the basis of knowledge, and the basis of knowledge is a text in the Qur’aan or Sunnah, or ijmaa’ (scholarly consensus) or qiyaas (analogy). Al-Risaalah (39). Sources of Islamic legislations https://islamqa.info/en/112268
He also said: No view is binding unless it is based on the Book of Allaah or the Sunnah of His Messenger (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam). Everything other than them should be based on them. Jimaa’ al-‘Ilm. The saheeh Sunnah is wahy (Revelation) from Allaah https://islamqa.info/en/77243
THE OBLIGATION OF DAWAH
Calling people to Allah is a communal obligation (fard kifaayah) upon the ummah and it is an individual obligation (fard ‘ayn) upon every Muslim, according to his ability & knowledge. The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “Convey from me, even if it is only one verse.” -Bukhaari.
Allah says: “Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma‘roof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful” [Q3:104]:
Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: “Whoever among you sees an evil action, then let him change it with his hand [by taking action]; if he cannot, then with his tongue [by speaking out]; and if he cannot, then with his heart – and that is the weakest of faith.” According to another version: “Beyond that there is not even a mustard seed’s worth of faith.”.
“Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better” [Q16:125]
“and invite (men) to (believe in) your Lord, and be not of Al-Mushrikoon (those who associate partners with Allah” [Q28:87].
“Say (O Muhammad SAW): “This is my way; I invite unto Allah (i.e. to the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allah i.e., to the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) with sure knowledge” [Q12:108].
The Messenger (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) sent out callers, letters to non-Muslim populace, kings & rulers, calling them to Allah.
